We are really lucky, the eagle stop here often. 
Lately we have been visited by a Golden Eagle as well, but he has proven to be much more elusive. The Bald Eagle was recently seen catching a fish out of our pond. I never tire of watching these beautiful birds. This one put me over a half hour behind schedule, but it was well worth it!

Newman and Gus are Buddies.
They are pasturemates and they both do therapeutic riding together.
Gus is a very good influence on Newman.

I hope everyone takes some time this weekend to remember all of our Veterans past and present. These are the men and women who have sacrifed so much in order for us to live our lives freely! If not for them, we would not be enjoying our gardening, fishing, boating, and parties this weekend! 
Thank you to all the men and women currently protecting us, may God watch over them and keep them safe. God bless the souls who gave thier lives for us, it is a sacrifice that will not be forgotten.

Phoenix at 8 hours old
One year ago yesterday, baby Phoenix was born – Up until today, he was always out in the ring with a babysitter. Today, he went out for the first time with the big horses.
